Many students need to write English Research Papers in upcoming school semester. I have a few links students are refer to when writing a research paper.

快开学了，许多学生面临写 Research Paper的重任。那到底什么是一篇好的Essay 和 Thesis Topic呢？

1. Essay need to have an argument, you need to prove something by reasoning and evidence. 仅仅陈述观察不足以写好学术论文，一篇论文一定要有论点。也就是说，你需要提出有力的证据去证明一个有意义的观点。

2. A topic does not give you a sound thesis, you need to narrow it down. You should fomulate questions, create hypothesis, and test it, even asking questions against it.

一个话题并不等于是你的论题，你需要缩小范围。你需要不断的提出问题，设定假设，反复探索。你的论题需要回答一个问题。

3. Essay organization is the key to have a success paper.

文章结构是很重要的。你找到材料的顺序通常不是最有效的。你需要反复组织，直到论文清晰易懂。

4. Other tips:

    a) Start writing early        提前开始，给自己足够的时间写作

    b) Write the readiest part first   不要从前写到尾，先写最好写，最有内容写的一段，之后重组。

    c) Keep the overall purpose and organization in mind 记住论文的最终目的与整体结构

    d) Reverise extensively  不要写一段，改一句。 整体写完，反复编辑。

    e) Better transitions, dictions, and economy 更好的转折链接语，用词精确度和经济度（以最少的词表达最清晰的句子）
